DR HAYLEY MCMAHON

Clinical Psychologist

Pronouns: She/her

I am a clinical psychologist based in Brisbane, Australia.

I work with individuals, adolescents (ages 16 and up), couples and families.

My aim is to help each client make sense of their experiences and empower them to make meaningful change in their lives.

I have a Masters of Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Queensland.

I previously worked at headspace, the national not for profit service which provides support for young people aged 12 to 25. I also previously worked as a school psychologist at a private girls high school.

RESEARCH AND TEACHING

My PhD research focused on understanding how sexting, pornography and sexual communication fit into the modern lives of individuals and couples.

I am available for guest speaker opportunities on the following topics:

+ Online sexual behaviour and safety
